We believe that continuing to empower families in our local communities is an important ritual of love and kindness. We donate 2% of our sales to local not-for-profit organizations that work to support and empower women, as well as alleviate food insecurity in local communities. Here are some organizations that we support:
La Casa De Las Madres
Founded in 1976, Casa de Las Madres is the first domestic violence shelter in California. They provide support services including shelter and counseling for victims of abuse in the Bay Area. This includes low income and homeless women. They are the only San Francisco shelter intaking 24/7, 365 days a year.
Alameda County Community Food Bank
Established in 1985, Alameda County Community Food Bank is a fast-growing, dynamic organization at the forefront of hunger‐relief efforts in the Bay Area. The Food Bank serves 116,000 people each month – primarily children and seniors – and distributes enough food for 28 million meals through our innovative programming and their extensive network of 267 food pantries, soup kitchens and other community partner organizations.
